Questions from this area

We do not have MES. Can I still do this?

Yes. Plenty of projects in this area run on PLC counters plus the shift log. What matters is that the loss is measurable at all, not that it comes from a specific system.

My plant runs many SKUs. Does that break the model?

It breaks a naive one, and that is exactly what module 4 covers: validating against the process, where recipe changes and seasonality are the reason offline accuracy lies.
