You know the scan cycle, the interlocks, and what happens to the recipe when the network hiccups. Deploying a model safely into a control environment is an automation problem long before it is a data science one.

Will the model write to the PLC?
Only if you decide it should, and module 5 spends its time on exactly that boundary. Most first deployments are advisory, and that is the right call.
Our OT network is segmented and I intend to keep it that way.
